TUDARE

The Trout Unlimited Driftless Area Restoration Effort, or TUDARE, is a project organized by volunteers from more than 15 Trout Unlimited chapters in the Driftless Area of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. The groups are working with agency partners to restore sections of 60 streams in the area. This regional restoration project demonstrates the positive impact that efforts to control erosion and improve stream habitat have on local steam ecology and fish populations.

In Minnesota, the Hiawatha Chapter was recently recognized by the national Trout Unlimited Organization for its leadership in TUDARE.
