Basic Fly Casting Techniques
If you are new to fly casting, the best place to start learning the correct technique is in your own backyard or your local park. Find a place where you have plenty of room around you.
Instead of using a dry fly, tie a bright, 2 inch piece of yarn to your tippet. The yarn weights the line and also helps you to see the end of the line and follow it as it lands on the targeted area.
